Outing Details:
Camping at Bastrop State Park and kayaking down the Colorado River just east of Austin TX. Plan to have lots of fun while you learn how to handle a kayak or practice what you already know.
All scouts and adults who wish to attend this campout must have a BSA swimmer classification.
In addition to water sports, Bastrop State Park offers seven miles of trail (keep an eye out for a legless slender glass lizard that you might mistake for a snake).
