6-mile race on Brazos River. Note - Camping Merit Badge Requirement
Lunch on water - canoes - equipment provided, plus awards!
380 Tent Camping per Person - Patrol Cooking

PERSONAL GEAR: All participants must wear shirt, pants/shorts, shoes, and a USCG approved PFD at all times while on the water. Bring drinking water bottle, sunscreen, 1-gallon milk bottle with bottom cut off/water baler, knee-pads.

WATER: 6-Mile: Each boat is required to carry at least 2 liters of drinking water in the boat

Lunch, boats, equipment, & awards provided. Open to Scouts, Venturers, Explorers, and adults. All must be swimmers. Camping is open all weekend – one unit per campsite.

Schedule
6:30 a.m.–………………..… RACE CHECK-IN begins – by appointment. One Leader turns in Canoe Race Boat Information Forms and picks up race numbers, driving directions, maps, lunches, and Race Wristbands.
8:00 a.m……………………… First BOAT PICKUP / START TIME.
8:15 a.m………………………. First 6-Mile race start
8:00 a.m.–1:30 PM …… 6-Mile Race Start Times – by appointment.
5:00 PM ……………….……… 6-Mile river races ends
7:00-8:00 PM …….………. Awards Announced & delivered (as soon as they are ready)


Campout Cost $40.00 for each Scout or Adult

As of August 28th, all payments must be made in person.

Please bring your payment to the T380 Court of Honor on Monday August 31st.
