Camping at
Cleburne State Park
March 19 - 21, 2021
Our March Campout will be at Cleburne State Park, which is just 1 hour away Southwest of Fort Worth. Our campsite is very close to the Perch point Fishing Trail. The rocky banks along this trail make excellent habitat for Sunfish, Bass and Catfish. Unfortunately the Tackle Loaner Program has be suspended due to Coivid-19, so you will have to bring your own rod and tackle. Remember, you (adults and youth) do not need a fishing license to fish from shore or a boat at this state park. There are 13 miles of trails for hiking, geocache, bird watch and study nature. Scouts can also work on advancements that require camping and outdoor skills.
